“Invalid Scopes: pages_manage_instant_articles, read_insights”

When connecting your site to Facebook via the API you may now start coming across the "Invalid Scopes" error:

“Invalid Scopes: pages_manage_instant_articles, read_insights. This message is only shown to developers. Users of your app will ignore these permissions if present. Please read the documentation for valid permissions at: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/facebook-login/permissions”

This is because your Facebook App is in 'Live Mode' but hasn't been through the Facebook Review process. The solution is to put the App into Test Mode (a small toggle on the top right of the screen). Instant Articles work fine in Test Mode so there's no need to have it in Live mode or go through the Review Process.
